Very large cold cast Skull and Crossbones badge

Cold casting is a process that involves mixing metal powder with resin to create castings that look like solid metal. I use tin, bronze and steel in the resin to get the required result. Once they have set they are polished by hand to bring out the shine. Although metal is used in the process they are very light at 39g (1.38oz)

To attach the badge there are a number of choices I recommend 2 Chicago bolts for attaching to cloth and leather but the bolt will leave a small hole in the material. There are other options such as two pins or magnets for attaching to metal or I can leave it without any attachments.

All my badges are made by hand by myself. Due to this there are always little variations between each badge making each one unique. This is normal and not a fault with manufacture.

The badge will arrive boxed in a black velvet bag, polished and with an oil wash and a piece of very fine wire wool for you to polish up more if you wish. Please be careful polishing, it is not hard to rub off the surface layer of metal.
